Meet Your Provider: Dr. Lois Borner, DC
Dr. Lois Borner practiced chiropractic for over 20 years in SE Minnesota, where she built strong, caring relationships with patients of all ages. After having her own children—whom she has supported with chiropractic care from birth through the present—she developed a deeper interest in incorporating additional healing methods into both her family’s care and her patient care.
Dr. Lois has over 30 years of experience practicing Craniosacral Therapy (CST) after completing training through the Upledger Institute, including CST 1 & 2, SomatoEmotional Release 1, and Pediatric CST. She completed approximately 200 hours of training. She has also studied Core Zero Balancing and Mechanical Link, and completed 400 hours of training in classical homeopathy. In addition, she has pursued ongoing education in nutrition and functional medicine.
She appreciates how Craniosacral Therapy integrates with chiropractic care—supporting the body’s natural ability to improve function of the brain and spinal cord, reduce the effects of stress, and enhance overall health and balance.
Dr. Lois grew up on a farm outside of Howard Lake. Her first experience with chiropractic care was as a teenager following a concussion from a fall off a horse. She later experienced back and neck pain during college at the University of Minnesota Morris, where she earned a double major in chemistry and biology, which led her to pursue chiropractic. While attending Northwestern College of Chiropractic, she studied Meridian Therapy to gain insight into Traditional Chinese Medicine, which continues to influence both her personal health and clinical perspective.
Dr. Lois and her husband moved to the area in 2020 and now live in Victoria. She has been involved in music her entire life and currently serves as an organist, pianist, and choir accompanist at a church in Excelsior. She also enjoys teaching piano and spending time with her grandchildren.
